Communications business targets US and European growth through bank funding deal

A Lancashire-based mass communications solutions provider is set to embark on an international growth strategy after securing a seven-figure funding package from HSBC UK.

Audiebant, located in Kirkham and founded in 2021, is a specialist in safety and communication systems, delivering integrated audio, visual, and mobile solutions.

Operating across education, NHS, local government, leisure, events and corporate sectors, the company helps organisations create safer, more secure environments by implementing technology.

With HSBC’s support, the company is set to expand into new markets across the US and Europe through a distribution network for its developing SAAS model product offering.

Audiebant’s product range includes zoned internal and external communication systems designed for both public and private sectors, as well as large-scale events. Messages are delivered via audio, visual displays and mobile app integration for maximum reach and impact.

HSBC’s funding will support project delivery and is expected to create at least ten jobs, increasing the company’s workforce to 40 by the end of 2025.

Recruitment will focus on AI-driven roles, with an emphasis on hiring experts in people-focused artificial intelligence.

This bank’s support growth is expected to increase turnover at Audiebant by 300% over the next 12 months.

Audiebant CEO, Josh Dean, said: “HSBC’s ongoing support and commitment to understand our mission ensures we can continue to protect communities worldwide. We look forward to driving forward the future of safety and technology to create more security globally.”

James Toppin, relationship manager at HSBC UK, said: “We are dedicated to supporting specialists like Audiebant, whose expertise supports safety and security on a global scale.

“This funding will serve as a catalyst for Audiebant’s growth strategy, enabling the business to accelerate its expansion into international markets.”
