This March, Audiebant was out and about, making our presence felt across some of the most exciting events in the industry. From conferences and networking meetups to seminars and panel discussions, our team was on the ground connecting, learning, and sharing our insights. Here’s a roundup of where we were, who we met, and the key takeaways that made this month one to remember.
Association of Colleges, London – 5th March 2026
We kicked off March at the Association of Colleges Higher Education Conference & Exhibition in London. Between sessions, one challenge came up again and again: ensuring student and staff safety across campuses. Coordinating security and communication during incidents is a real concern for colleges. We heard firsthand the creative approaches colleges are taking to keep campuses safe, from communication protocols to coordinated security planning.
Innovation Lab, Carlisle – 5th March 2026
On the same day, we attended the Innovation Lab event in Carlisle, where the focus was on sustainable innovation, technology, security, and facilities management. Talking with industry leaders highlighted the key issues of integrating new technologies while keeping systems secure and efficient. Being a part of these discussions showed us how critical reliable systems are in supporting practical innovation, especially when integrating new technology at scale.
ASCL Association of School and College Leaders, Liverpool – 13th-14th March 2026
At the ASCL Conference, the theme ‘forward together’ really resonated with us. In education, moving forward isn’t just about curriculum or technology, it’s about creating an environment where students and staff feel safe, informed and connected. Many leaders we spoke with at ASCL highlighted the difficulty of keeping campuses informed during both day to day operations and unexpected incidents. Being able to talk through Audiebant’s approach to instant alerts, zoned voice instructions, and automated messages sparked some really insightful discussions on improving communication safely.
IGPP Institute of Government & Public Policy, Manchester – 17th March
We attended the IGPP Annual Facilities Management Show, where estates and facilities teams explored how to modernise ageing infrastructure, meet Net Zero targets, and deliver safer, more efficient public spaces under tight budgets. Conversations with leaders highlighted just how complex these challenges are and gave us fresh perspective on the role reliable communication and practical innovation play in supporting safer, smarter environments.
ISCVE, Coventry – 17th-18th March 2026
We attended ISCVE, exploring the latest advancements in commercial sound, communications, and visual solutions. It was great to connect with industry leaders, attend seminars on emerging technologies, and exchange ideas with fellow project managers and engineers. The discussions reinforced how important it is to stay at the forefront of innovation, so we can deliver systems that are both cutting edge and reliable for our clients.
FSOA, Kenilworth – 24th-25th March 2026
This week we attended the FSOA conference, where the focus was on advancing safety standards, networking for safety officers, and sharing best practices in football stadium security. The conference offered a real insight into how stadium safety teams coordinate during events and reminded us how vital clear communication is in high pressure environments.
Future of Academies, Salford – 25th March 2026
We headed to Salford for the Future of Academies conference, where conversations focused on the evolving role of multi academy trusts, leadership, and the future direction of education. It was a great chance to hear how trusts are adapting to increasing demands around communication, safeguarding and day to day operations.
City Security & Safety Summit, London – 25th March 2026
We were also in London for the City Security & Safety Summit, where the focus was on protecting people and infrastructure in increasingly complex urban environments. The event brought together professionals from across sectors, all working towards safer, more resilient cities.
Hearing how different organisations are approaching security in real world settings gave us valuable perspective on the role clear, dependable communication plays in keeping people safe, especially in fast-moving or high pressure situations.
